FreshUs is oxygen absorber to protect packaged foods and other products against spoilage, mold growth, color change, loss of nutritive values, insect damage and loss of quality. By removing residual oxygen inside packaging to below 0.01% FreshUs effectively preserve packaged foods without use of food additives and preservatives. FreshUs not only extends shelf life but keeps product quality as was.

C-type FreshUs works in both CO2 and O2. While preventing oxidation to keep the quality of product and extend shelf life, C-type FreshUs prevents bag swelling due to CO2 as well. For CO2 generating products such as coffee and Kimchi, etc., C-type FreshUs works perfect in dual action providing longer shelf life and nice package presentation.

Requirements for Packaging with FreshUs

Proper barrier film must be used Barrier film with transmission rate of 15 cc of oxygen/M2/24 or less is recommended. Unless proper barrier film is used, FreshUs will be prematurely exhausted in a certain time.

Air-tight seal is essential Air-tight seal provides an environment where FreshUs can work to reduce oxygen level. Otherwise, FreshUs will be prematurely used up which will result shorten shelf life.

Free air flow in the packaging is a must Free circulation of air inside the package ensures FreshUs power will reach everywhere inside the packaging.
